Who are the shoppers?
Majority are housewives. Some are with their families with their husbands holding either the basket or trolleys. And some housewives come with their kids and friends. Their kids are mostly younger ones whom they would put in the trolley. There are some teenagers in school uniforms but they do not hold any basket or trolleys, they would most probably buy little stuff that they could hold. There are some guys that shop alone and holds a basket that only contain like a few stuff, maybe either 2 or 3. But you would not see a lot of them around. Elderly ladies who shop usually have their family member with them helping them to carry stuff and to reach for stuff.
What do they buy?
I looked into alot of the shopper’s trolley and basket, mostly found inside are daily household items. Food and drinks are the majorities. Electronics are not often seen, especially clothes.
How do they shop?
I did see a maid and a group of uniformed teenagers holding a shopping list as they walk around, other than that, housewives are not seen with shopping lists. There was a lady with a shopping trolley placed in the Giant’s trolleys. They did not use it, maybe so as to use it after purchasing the products. Shoppers are not usually seen purchasing bulky items like fridge, actually none was seen around. Maybe it was bulky and it was also inconvenient for the. Especially when they can go electronic shops and have they delivered to their house instead of bringing the things home themselves which is so troublesome. Most shoppers with trolley would line at the normal queues as to have the items paid. and for those who are rushing for time and have only few items would go to the express lanes. They make payments by cash or nets and “aunties” could have their member card with them. People usually go through all the shelves to find what they want. People are not often seen looking up to the board to find the section of the things they are looking for. They surprisingly just go into the section that they THINK that would have it. People who uses the express lanes have less than 10 items. But some have more and claim to be rushing for time.

1. What is a multimedia CD-ROM title?
It is the first thing that would appear afetr you insert the CD into the computer. It also allows the user to know what it is all about. Like it’s content.
2. What are some application of CD-ROM title design? Eg. Educational. Bring examples, if any.
Education, tutorials, games, softwares, introductions
3. What are the differences between website design and CD-ROM title design?
As for website design, there is a maximum of 3-5mb that we can use for each page, but as for CD-ROM title design, we have a mximum of 700mb which is much more than the website. So we do not really have to worry so much about the space that would be taken up as there would be enough space on the CD. Whereas the website design only limits to that amout which is not that much compared to the CD-ROM title.

This is a UK,London experience i had 1 yr back.
I felt it was interactive as we get to interact with our friends, communicate with them and understand how they really are.We get to learn about other countries culture and do whatever they do everyday and eat their food, like everyday. I went with a group of 20plus friends and 3 teachers with NO PARENTS. Thats the good experience part, it was a nine days trip with no parent and freedom =D though alot of my friends had homesick for the first few days, however they overcome it with the help of fellow friends. It was a very fun trip with lots of virgin experiences.
This experience was PRICELESS.

This was an encounter with BATS when i was in Medan, Indonesia.
I felt that this was an interactive experience as i get to interact with my family and the bat. This was the first ever time i got to hold it as i do not think i would have the chance in Singapore. My family and i were like shouting at each other trying to get the other people to hold the bat. As looking at the face terrifies you.

here’s a video of my ice skating experience with my friends.
I felt that it was a good experience as we had fun. Not maining on skating itself, but the things we do in the middle. Like trying to push people down onto the ice and stuff. And even doing stupid things that may cause a commotion. Such fun stuff we do helps us to bond closer as friends.

Web application is something like a software which you can access with a server. With the help of internet, you can use it anywhere.
Web application is the software whereas web design is the look of it. Web application is where you can make use of it to help you, while web design is for visual satisfaction, you cannot do anything with it unless if you’re the designer =D
How do you find this site? (in 3 words)
So ugly until……… (if this is unacceptable)
plain, ugly, amateur.
Who do you think the site is created for?
For those auntie and un-professional budget people who just dont bother about how a site looks. They just want to find what they need. And the main thing this site is created is because ThisFashion thinks that alot of shops have their own websites, so they want one too. They just want to have one website, not bothering how it looks. So, in conclusion, i feel that the site is created for themselves, not thinking about others.
What are the good attributes of the site (in terms of usability, aesthetic issues, etc)?
It really has the basics of what the company wants people to know. It’s simple. and it goes straight to the point. you need not read lots of un-related stuff as it’s very plain.
What are the bad attributes of the site?
ermm… where should i start….
The background color is bad, it makes me sleepy by looking at it.
There are a variety of fonts and there are so many font color that i do not know whether am i still on the same site or not.
Even the line below the header is not complete.
There’s no focal point.
The “contact me” link keeps dissappearing.
It’s boring, really.
